PATH TO LEVEL 2 ELEVATORLook to the right. Behind the fan you will see a grapple post. There is a another post beyond that, and a Chemicop on the far platform as well. He is guarding the Medipoid that is trapped behind the green shield. How you proceed is up to you. You can Zoom in (enter key, 4, or mouse wheel) and take out the Chemicop from here, or cross the gaps and then do it.

GRAPPLE POSTSShoot the grapple post behind the fan to cross to the next platform. Then click the next grapple post to get to the platform with the Chemicop in red. Grapple posts are topped with the mineral Tunirite. When stimulated by a coagulic energy shock - like that emitted by your gun - it was discovered that they create a temporary weak warp field that attracts object to it along the lines of the charge. Tunirite technology is used for a variety of transportation purposes in Junx City but here was applied to the primitive grapple posts as a fast means of traversing large distances without a mechanical transport.

FIRST CHEMICOPAs soon as you reach this platform the Chemicop will attack you. You can shoot him from the previous platform to get in a few extra shots if you like. The Chemicops health will show up as a red circle around your reticule when you mouse over the target. Shoot the Chemicop and deplete his health to defeat him. Chemicops - inbred, homogenous poor for hire. Thrust into poorly paid enforcer roles with little more than unreliable but high powered Binary Plasma guns to protect them fro far superior forces that want Chemicoy's secrets.

FREE THE MEDIPOIDOnce the Chemicop is dead (or before if you want to do this from a distance) you need to free the medipoid that is trapped behind the green energy shield. Shoot the 4 Gold energy cores at each corner of the energy shield. Their health will appear as a red circle when you mouse over them, just like when you mouse over the chemicops. Once you disable all 4 Gold Energy Cores, the medipoid will be free. After a quick thank you he will take a permanent position floating above your head.

HEALINGClick on the Medipoid and hold down the mouse button over him to start healing. When done correctly, the medipoid will release a stream of healing energy that will quickly replenish your health. It is a good idea to replenish your health after a fight. This medipoid went rogue and developed a mind of its own. Potentially dangerous, the medipoid was being held for transfer to a recycling facility when you found him. He can be a bit quirky, sometime choosing to ignore your requests for a healing hand. In the end, though, he will prove to be an invaluable help. |

TO THE LEVEL 2 ELEVATOR...With the energy field disabled, the path is now free to get to the next elevator control. Walk towards the end of the platform to access the panel.

ELEVATOR UPYou are now on another elevator platform. Notice the floor has a light in each corner. In the center you will see a panel with an arrow pointing up. This is an Elevator panel. To activate it, get close to the panel and click it. The elevator will lurch into action and start to rise up to level 2. If clicking the panel doesn't work, try moving closer to the panel using the arrow keys and clicking it again.
