LEVEL 2

The elevator will take you up to level 2. At first it looks like there is no where to go. But far across the gap is another grapple post.

THE GOLDEN ARROWS

Look to the left of the Chemicoy video screen at the center of the screen. You will see 3 golden arrows on a floating platform. Above it is a new grapple post, but its hard to see it from here. You'll need to zoom in to see it.

ZOOM IN ABOVE THE GOLDEN ARROWS

Press ENTER, 4, or use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in above the golden arrows. You will be able to see the grapple post above the golden arrows this way. Place your mouse over the grapple post and click it when your reticule lights up green to cross this rather large gap.

SHUT DOWN THE ENERGY BEAMS

You are now on one of 4 platforms. 3 surrounding a single platform in their center, with rotating energy beams protecting the center platform. You'll need to time your shot right to click the grapple post on the center platform.

The first rotating beam is the fastest. Press the spacebar if you want to get a better view of the environment. If you have trouble getting past this energy beam, you can get to one of the other platforms using their grapple posts. The energy beams around these platforms spin more slowly. Use whichever path you find best to get to the center platform.

So called 'Red Energy' is actually cool to the touch, and quite solid, making a good replacement for walls and bridges. Only problem is that it is NOT energy efficient at all.

CENTER PLATFORM

Eventually you should be able to make your way to the center platform. There is a new panel here in front of the grapple post. This is the energy regulator.

SHOOT THE ENERGY REGULATOR PANEL

Get close to this panel and shoot it to disable the energy beams. All power will be rerouted from the spinning beams to a nearby, unused energy bridge.

THE BRIDGE

Continue to the far grapple post and platform. An energy bridge has appeared here that you can now cross. Travel should e easy as there are no longer any spinning energy beams in your way.
